Now that the majority of the school related stress is gone (there’s some more to come in the coming weeks, but it’s nice and easy at the moment), I was finally able to hang out with my buddy Willem again. We had a great day, cycled over 80 kilometers, and shot some photos here and there.
At some point, we decided to check out the NDSM shipyard located in the very northwestern part of Amsterdam. We knew there was some cool stuff over there, but we hadn’t really been there. So took the ferry across the IJ and cycled to the shipyard.
Once there we found this really awesome spot, a beautiful urban location with a lot of buildings and cranes in decay. We spent a good two hours shooting photos there, but I’m sure I could spend some more time there. I’m definitely going back there soon, I might want to arrange some kind of photoshoot on that spot.
So what does this place look like? Well let’s get to it:
To conclude, this place is awesome and I need to go there more often. And hopefully I won’t be too busy in the coming weeks so I’ll actually have times for these things. Tell me if you know/like this spot!
