NSRK 2011

Today, the NSRK 2011 took place. NSRK is a rowing championship between schools in the Netherlands that’s held every year. NSRK stands for Nederlands School Roei Kampioenschap which basically means Dutch School Rowing Championship. My school has its own rowing club so we always attend to this championship and so we did this year.

You might not know this, but I row at the rowing club of my school as well. I’m not a great rower, mostly because I don’t row all that often. Enough said about rowing, as you could probably guess I didn’t go there just to row: I went there to shoot photos as well. Please hit continue reading to see them.

I didn’t have much gear with me because I was there to row as well and I didn’t have a good place to keep my gear when I was rowing. Nevertheless I think I did a pretty good job at shooting some nice photos.

Let’s get started.

The event was a lot of fun and I’m very glad I was there. Next weekend there’s the National Championship which is a lot more serious than this. I’m going to try to be there to take shots (this time with all my gear and totally focussed on photography).

Please tell me in the comments if you like the shots.
